Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction
Great South Run cancelled over safety concerns as Storm Ashley heads for UK

The annual 10-mile race in Portsmouth, Hampshire, is managed by Great Run, who stated that the weather conditions had not improved sufficiently to "safely stage" the event.
They expressed concerns about the forecasted winds potentially compromising "event infrastructure, including our medical facilities", as well as safety issues posed by high tide levels, exposure along the seafront sections of the route and "potential debris".
The Met Office has issued weather warnings for wind, with gusts of up to 80mph predicted in the worst affected areas on Sunday, ahead of the season's first named storm. The weather service warned of "injuries and danger to life likely from large waves and beach material being thrown onto coastal roads, sea fronts and properties" in the affected areas.
