Heartless joyriders have left a number of graves in a Glasgow cemetery damaged after driving over them with a van. The vehicle was then abandoned and set on fire within the grounds of Lambhill Cemetery, off Balmore Road, over the weekend.
Grass was torn up with visible tyre marks showing the vehicle had been driven in several loops over the top of multiple plots.
The stonework and memorial items on top of one grave was also damaged. The motor was then dumped on a pathway used by people to access the cemetery in their cars, Glasgow Live reports.
