Grammy Hall Of Fame Inducts Recordings By Santana, Cat Stevens, Luther Vandross, More

Albums and songs by Cat Stevens, Luther Vandross, Jay-Z and Emmylou Harris are among the 13 new additions to the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Recording Academy announced today.

The inducted recordings, each at least 25 years old, will be honored at the Grammy Museum and Recording Academy’s Grammy Hall Of Fame Gala on May 16, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA.

The Gala will also pay tribute to this year’s label honoree, Republic Records, with performers to be announced at a later date.

In addition to the above mentioned, the artist inductees include Santana’s, Big Star, Clara Ward, Eddie Floyd, Emmylou Harris, Fela Kuti & Afrika 70, Geeshie Wiley, Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine, J.D.
