Motherwell manager Graham Alexander has blasted Jason Leitch for the decision to reduce attendances at football grounds from today to a maximum of just 500 people.
And he was incensed when the former dentist - turned First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s chief medical advisor - revealed on radio that it wasn’t a case of following the relevant data, admitting he had plucked that figure out of thin air. “Of course you have to draw the line somewhere, we’ve drawn it at a variety of points over the last little while,” said Leitch. “It’s very difficult to choose a number, you can either choose zero, 10,000 or somewhere in between.
