‘Government Cheese’ Trailer: David Oyelowo Stars As An Ex-Con Trying To Make A Comeback In Apple Comedy Series – Update
deadline.comUPDATED: Apple TV+ has unveiled the first trailer for Government Cheese, its upcoming comedy series starring and executive produced by David Oyelowo.
Oyelowo’s Hampton Chambers has a plan “that’s going to make our family the toast of Chatsworth,” he asserts as the trailer begins.
Fresh out of prison, Hampton is attempting a do-over as an inventor, with “a drill’ that “self-sharpens as it works.” Vowing not to do “smash and grabs anymore” Hampton says he’s “on the righteous path.” The 10-episode series premieres globally on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, April 16 with the first four episodes, followed by one episode weekly every Wednesday through May 28.
