GOT7 member Mark Tuan has donated to the official George Floyd Memorial Fund. Protests were sparked around the US following the death of Floyd, a black man who died in Minnesota after a white police officer knelt on his neck for over eight minutes.

Mark, 26, is so far one of the most prominent idols to speak out in the wake of Floyd’s death. Jae from the K-pop band Day6 also tweeted that he had given $1000 (£800) to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which ‘pays criminal bail and immigration bond for those who cannot afford to’.
