Gordon Ramsay expressed how happy he was to say goodbye to 2020 by smashing a gingerbread house with a rolling pin in a hilarious New Year's Day video.

At the start the clip, Gordon is heard reading a poem as the camera pans in on the gingerbread creation while traditional Christmas song The First Noel plays.

The music then suddenly stops as the loudmouth star flattens the house, which was decorated with white icing snow and jelly bean tiles before telling 2020 to "f**k off".

Gordon, 54, said: "It was the holiday season and snow was abound, with Gordon Ramsay re-runs playing about. But as the year comes to an end, here's some wisdom from a friend. "F**k off 2020, will you?
