Gordon Ramsay was forced to deny claims he ‘almost caused a crash’ during a lockdown bike ride. The celebrity chef is currently isolating with his family in Cornwall, and undertook a 26.2mile bike ride on Sunday – in place of the London Marathon.

However, the 53-year-old has been accused of jumping a red light on his journey, and almost causing a ‘nasty accident’. According to the Sun, a photo showing the dad-of-five on his cycle was shared on Facebook, with an angry local alleging he had gone through the light. ‘I was delivering some shopping to my daughter and this t**t decides to go through a red light at Trewornan Bridge,’ the publication states they said. ‘Very nearly could have been a nasty accident as a car was coming the other way
