BreAnna Bell Disney’s “Goosebumps” series scared up solid opening figures after premiering its debut episode at NYCC on Friday, delivering 4.2 million total views in its first three days of availability streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
With the release of the first five episodes, Disney’s touting the launch as Disney Branded Television’s most-watched season premiere of the year on both Disney+ and Hulu and its biggest streaming season premiere since “Monsters at Work” debuted in 2021.
Based on the popular books by R.L. Stine, the new series follows a group of five high schoolers who, after unleashing a host of supernatural forces on their town, must combine efforts to save it.
While it’s not an exact comparison, “Loki” Season 2 garnered 10.9 million views in its first three days of availability after premiering earlier this month.
