Paul Sorvino, the actor best known for his roles in Goodfellas and Law & Order, has passed away at the age of 83.
His wife Dee Dee announced the news on Monday (July 25), confirming that he died of natural causes. “Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life, and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage,” she said. Click inside to read more… Over the course of his fifty-year career, Paul played James Caan‘s bookie in The Gambler, Claire Danes’ father in Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet (1996) and Warren Beatty‘s 2016 film Rules Don’t Apply.
He was a father to three children from his first marriage with Lorraine Davis, one of whom is Academy Award-winning actress Mira Sorvino.
He married his third wife, Dee Dee, in 2014 after meeting her on Fox News Channel’s Your World With Neil Cavuto.
