Good Morning Britain viewers were left sobbing today after witnessing a touching moment on the ITV programme. Second World War veteran Ken Bembow, 94, was a guest on the show with his 17-year-old carer, Kia Tobin, who both went viral after she gave him a heartwarming gift.
After losing Aida, who lived with him at the care home in Preston, Kia bought Ken a pillow with his wife's face on so he could still sleep close to her.
Hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were also moved by the moment as they spoke to the widower via video link from his care home.
Speaking of the pillow, Ken immediately broke into tears as he spoke of the gift, saying he was touched by the act of kindness from his Kia. "It was so touching.
