One guest on Good Morning Britain left viewers in disbelief today - as they appeared naked on the show. On Tuesday’s episode of the ITV show hosts Ed Balls and Charlotte Hawkins led a discussion on whether it should be illegal to be naked in public.
It comes after the City of London Corporation received complaints about a naked sunbather. Helen Berriman is a member of the Naturist Foundation and claimed a law shouldn’t be in force to make naked sunbathing illegal, the Liverpool Echo reports.
She said: "All the things going on in the world at the moment, are we really that bothered if there's a nude body sunbathing in a quiet corner of a park?" But Nick Ede disagreed with her point and said it was “inconsiderate”.
He said: "It's about you and your empowerment. But you're not taking into consideration other people in that environment who might be a little bit triggered or find it a little bit offensive." Viewers following the show on Twitter were distracted as Helen appeared naked during the debate.
