Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos reveals he’s tested positive for coronavirus after caring for wife Ali Wentworth

Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulous has admitted that it came as no surprise that he has tested positive for coronavirus.

The TV anchor had been caring for his wife Ali Wentworth as she battled Covid-19 and now it’s been confirmed that he’s also contracted the virus.

Thankfully the 59-year-old hasn’t shown any symptoms so far and he is still able to continue his presenting duties from home as he self-isolates.

Speaking to his co-anchors Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan, he explained: ‘I also learned that my test came back positive for COVID, which is really no surprise given that I have been here for a couple of weeks ‘But I am one of those I guess cases that are asymptomatic.
