Good Girls actress gives birth to baby boy as she says she's 'besotted' with him
ok.co.ukMae Whitman, the former child actress best known for her roles in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The DUFF, and TV series Good Girls, has announced that she has given birth to a son, who she has named Miles.
In a sweet Instagram post on Wednesday 28 August, Mae shared a photo of her new arrival's feet and wrote: "Not to be a Bieber about it but I too just gave birth to our son, Miles.
From the moment we heard the first tiny sound out of his little piggy mouth we were besotted. He is the kindest, gentlest, smartest, funniest little beebee and he's our best friend (pretty much like his namesake Uncle Miles)." She continued: "We are infinitely grateful he chose us as his parents." Mae went on to thank the hospital and staff who "guided our little family through all the unexpected twists and turns safely and with love and grace and to everyone in our circle who has shown us such radical generosity and support.
We love you! We're so happy!" From her post, Mae indicates that she has named her son after Miles Heizer, her co-star from the TV series Parenthood.
