Witnesses at the scene said the scooter rider allegedly drove through a red light and fled after knocking the actress over on a pedestrian crossing.
She suffered a traumatic brain injury and was in critical care at Mount Sinai Morningside hospital since June 4. The force of the scooter’s impact sent the actress flying across the road, witnesses said.
