Posting a gym selfie to Instagram, the 34 year old fitness fanatic - who is expecting her first child with husband James Haskell - joked that she had been: “Imposing myself on gym floors since 2013.” And though keeping active during pregnancy is an important part of staying fit and healthy, it can be a difficult and challenging time, leading many pregnant people to become unsure about what they can and can’t do.

If you’re healthy and your pregnancy has no complications, exercising during pregnancy is not dangerous for your baby and can even help prepare the body for childbirth.
In fact, the NHS states that there is some evidence to suggest that women who are active are less likely to experience problems later on in their pregnancy and during labour.
