Charles Ingram
Charles William Ingram (born 6 August 1963) is an English novelist, computer repairman, and former British Army major who became known for being accused and convicted of cheating on the television game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in 2001, after winning the maximum prize of one million pounds. Following a lengthy trial at Southwark Crown Court, he was convicted on a single count of procuring the execution of a valuable security by deception. He was convicted of an unrelated insurance fraud in 2003, and ordered to resign his commission as a major by the Army Board.

Gogglebox stars including Jenny and Lee were treated to the new ITV drama Quiz this week. The three-part series is based on the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire cheating scandal of 2001.

Charles Ingram was accused of cheating to win the top prize of a million pounds, and faced claims his wife Diana and another contestant were coughing to give him the answers.

Jenny and Lee got well into the drama, as they reacted to it on the Channel 4 show. But Jenny got a little too engrossed, and had to be reminded that it was a drama based on events that had already happened.

She began to get nervous, before making a hilarious blunder about the second episode. As "Charles" was seen answering questions and playing the game, just like the real Charles did
