Gogglebox has sent its audiences quackers once again – this time, by airing an excerpt from feminist anthology series Roar. Last week's episode of Gogglebox sparked a flurry of complaints from viewers to broadcasting regulator Ofcom, after the Channel 4 reality series aired its families reacting to a weirdly racy scene from the new Apple TV+ drama.
The clip in question is from the series' episode 'The Woman Who Was Fed by a Duck', which, as well as exploring the issue of domestic abuse, features a scene in which Merritt Wever's character Elisa is sexually pleasured by a duck. According to Metro. co. uk, Ofcom has received just shy of 150 complaints about the now-infamous Gogglebox moment, although it's not yet clear if an investigation will follow.
