Glen Kamara is close to agreeing a new deal to keep him at Ibrox beyond his current contract. The Finnish international has become a hugely influential player for Steven Gerrard and was key to the club’s first title success in a decade.
Kamara was a bargain £50,000 buy from Dundee in January 2019 and the 25-year-old is a player Gerrard has been to tie down. The Euro 2020 star has been linked with a host of top clubs and getting him to commit his long term future at Ibrox would be a huge boost.
And the Athletic reports that the former Arsenal man is "moving closer to signing a new deal” with the club “offering an extension on improved terms”.
