Glee star Naya Rivera's cause of death has been confirmed as accidental drowning after her body was recovered from Lake Piru on Monday, 13 July.The 33 year old’s cause of death has been ruled as an accident by the medical examiner's office.
Naya had been enjoying a day out on the lake on 8 July with her four year old son Josey, before she went missing and was presumed dead.
Her body was found on day six of the search at Lake Piru in Southern California. Autopsy results have now shown that the star's death was accidental drowning – one day after she was confirmed dead by authorities.There was no indication that alcohol or drugs played a part in her death, and no traumatic injuries or evidence of disease were found.
