Naya, 33, had been on a boat trip on Lake Piru, Ventura in California with her four-year-old son Josey. Her son was found alone in a rental boat and is said to have told authorities that Naya went swimming in the lake's waters but never returned to the boat.
Today, Amber tweeted: "Show some respect. All our energy is going toward helping find Naya and praying for her safe return and for her family." She continued: "No one owes anyone online a performance of grief.
