Rutherglen basketball player Gareth Murray says it will be a massive blow if Glasgow Rocks are told they can’t win their first title in 20 years due to the coronavirus threat.Murray and his team-mates expect the news within days, and he’s resigned to the prospect of being told the season is over with five games remaining.Rocks have a two-point lead over London Lions at the top of the British Basketball League and Murray says taking the title would mean the world.He said: “Nobody knows what will happen.
It will be down to the government but in my opinion it’s likely to be cancelled.“It’s a great opportunity for us and I would be very disappointed if it gets cancelled.
