Glasgow knifeman Badreddin Abadlla Adam had warned he planned to carry out the deadly attack the night before he stabbed six, it is claimed.

A man who knew him said Adam had become enraged over loud noise and lack of sunlight in the room he had been staying in for three months.

The asylum seeker, described as a "loner", was shot dead after the stabbing spree, which saw six people - including a police officer - injured at the Park Inn Hotel on West George Street.

A friend named Siraj told the Daily Mail that Adam, who was from Sudan, was angry about lack of light in his room, and claimed other guests were deliberately trying to provoke him.
