Glasgow hotel for homeless 'infested with mice' after resident finds rodents in bed

A hotel for the homeless in Glasgow has been branded 'unfit for humans' after pictures emerged of a mice infestation. The Rennie MacIntosh Station Hotel on Union Street has been used by the council to temporarily house homeless people while waiting for permanent accommodation.Resident Terry Murphy has told how he was disgusted after vermin jumped into his bed at night.The 48-year-old has spent six weeks living on the top floor of the hotel after he was housed there by the council.He says mice run around the corridors of the hotel and crawl into bedrooms.He told the Record: "They're all over the place, in our rooms, in the hallways- wherever you look."You can wake up at night and find one sitting in your room or going on your bed.
