‘Girls5eva’ Canceled At Netflix & Will Not Have Season 4
deadline.comGirls5eva has been canceled again, and this time by Netflix, Deadline has confirmed. The musical comedy will not have a fourth season on the streamer, marking the second time the show has been canceled.
Girls5eva originally premiered on Peacock in 2021. The show got a second season in 2022 but was dropped by the NBCUniversal streamer after two seasons before Netflix rescued it for a third season.
Season 3 of the comedy premiered in March 2024. Netflix’s confirmation that Girls5eva was not moving forward with another season came after star Busy Philipps addressed the series’ future on her podcast. “[Girls5Eva is] dead.I’m just saying it because fuck it.
If Netflix won’t, I will,” Philipps said on Doing Her Best. “I guess not enough people watched it or watched it the way that counts.
