Girls Aloud fans furious as tickets are slashed to £21 after some paid more than £200 as tour fails to sell out

Girls Aloud fans aren't too happy as ticket prices have been slashed, despite them spending as much as £200 per ticket just months ago.

Fans recently received an email announcing that ticket prices have been discounted 50% , meaning they could get their hands on tickets from £21.

Nicola Roberts, Cheryl, Nadine Coyle and Kimberley Walsh, of Girls Aloud, also announced that they will be performing a free intimate concert this summer.

On Tuesday July 2, They will be performing an exclusive gig at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, performing a setlist of their biggest hits.There were 700 pairs of tickets available to O2 Priority members or Virgin Media broadband customers with the tickets being distrusted through a ballot.Taking to X, to vent their frustration, one fan said: "Can’t help but want to cry looking at all the available and cheap Girls Aloud tickets when I paid £120 to be sat one row from the back." Another replied: "Same thing with me…" While a third said: "Don’t know why I bother spending ages trying to get tickets when my friend just was emailed saying tickets are now half price for girls aloud all we want to do is swap to Saturday we have Tuesday tickets please can you help." And someone else commented: "Just got an email for cheap tickets to go see #GirlsAloud at the O2 in London £21, quite tempted." As another posted: "So your telling me I've supported girls aloud my whole life and spent so much money on going to 17 tour dates but randoms get tickets to an intimate gig for FREE and are selling them? "Surely they’d rather have actual fans in the audience." Not only will fans get the chance to see the band sing their iconic songs including Can't Speak French, Biology and Sound Of The Underground, but a lucky few.
