A teenage girl who had been missing for almost four years has been returned safe to her family after walking into a police station.
Alicia Navarro, now 18, vanished from her home in a small town in Arizona - before reappearing hundreds of miles away in Montana, near the Canadian border.
When the youngster disappeared, she left behind a note saying she would be back and her desperate mum, Jessica Nunez, feared she had been lured away by an online predator.
As reported by the Mirror, a huge search bid was launched to trace her, lasting until this week, when she handed herself in to detectives at the rural station.Mystery still surrounds where Alicia has been since vanishing in September 2019, but officers at Glendale police station say she is "healthy and happy" despite feeling "overwhelmed".
