Girl in Red) is flipping the script. On Tuesday (April 14), Ulven unveiled her newest track "Midnight Love," a piano ballad that sees the singer pining after her lover, knowing the entire time that they don't love her the way she does. "I know I’m the last one you try to call/ But I always give in to give you it all," she sings.
In a statement, though, Ulven revealed that the song is based on a real experience, but written from the other person's perspective instead of her own. "This song is pretty much me reflecting on how small I’ve made someone else feel.
