A teenage girl was reportedly grabbed from behind and sexually assaulted in a horrific attack by a man wearing a balaclava as she walked down an alleyway alone.
Cheshire Police are investigating the incident which is thought to have happened between 5.18pm and 5.30pm on Tuesday (September 19), as the teenager walked along Underwood Lane alleyway in Crewe.
The force said enquiries have led officers to believe the teenager was approached from behind by a man, aged around 17 to 18-years-old, who then sexually assaulted her. He was wearing a black Nike Tech tracksuit, and a balaclava round his neck which he pulled up over his face. DI Georgie Jones said: “I understand this will cause a lot of concern in the community.
