As fans of the BBC One dance contest know, the dancer is no longer part of the show following an investigation into his behaviour on the show.
He was cleared of the most serious allegations. The BBC apologised to Sherlock star Amanda Abbington as they upheld some of her complaints against her former dance partner during the 2023 series.
Now, after winning the Italian Dancing with the Stars, Ballando con le Stelle, Giovanni is set to return to screens in the UK and has revealed that he was prepared to ditch his friend Kai Widdrington to win Celebrity Hunted.
