Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernicehas issued a lengthy statement after the findings of the investigation into Amanda Abbington’s complaints against him were released earlier today.The 34 year old took to Instagram in which he said he was glad “it's over”, admitting that the past six or seven months had been “difficult” as he wasn’t able to respond as he “wanted to keep the confidentiality and privacy of the review”.
Following the findings, Giovanni has taken to Instagram to release a video in which he addressed the release. Speaking to his 1.1 million Instagram followers, he began: "Hello everyone, it's me.
It's over. It's finished. Six months, seven months of all of this. Seven months of reading everyday things in the newspaper and not be able to respond because I wanted to keep the confidentiality and privacy of the review, was a difficult time.
It was difficult because, you know, reading stuff that were untrue, wasn't the nicest time of my life let's be honest." The former Strictly star added that people could “reflect” on today’s news and explained that he understood that “dancing is a very difficult thing to do”.
