Georginio Wijnaldum has sent a heartfelt message to Liverpool supporters after confirming the 2-0 win against Crystal Palace on Sunday was his last game for the club.
Speculation over the Dutch midfielder's future has been rife all season, with his contract set to expire at the end of next month.
But Reds boss Jurgen Klopp admitted ahead of the game that Wijnaldum would not be extending his deal, and the 30-year-old captained the team and was given a guard of honour at Anfield at the weekend.
After the match he took to social media with a long message to the Liverpool faithful which read: "It's really emotional for me right now, I'm very happy that we managed to get the third place and secure Champions League football for the club next
