Gillingham chairman Paul Scally has said that 'no credible bids' have been received by the Kent club amid interest from Bolton Wanderers for Kyle Dempsey.
Wanderers have made several additions to the squad already in the January transfer window and more are being worked on. Dion Charles and Aaron Morley have been added on a permanent basis from Accrington Stanley and Rochdale respectively. Further additions in midfield and in the striking department are being sought by Ian Evatt's side ahead of the mid-season transfer window closing at 11pm on Monday, January 31.
Speaking last week, Wanderers boss Ian Evatt confirmed that a second bid had gone in for a midfield player, which is believed to be Dempsey, 26, who is out of contract at Gillingham this summer.
