She signed to IMG Models in 2013. In November 2014, Hadid made her debut in the Top 50 Models ranking at Models.com. In 2016, she was named International Model of the Year by the British Fashion Council. Over the span of four years, Hadid has made 35 appearances on international Vogue magazine covers.

A source close to the supermodel spoke to HollywoodLife exclusively about why Gigi chose the name, and the specific date she revealed the happy news. “It’s not a huge surprise that Gigi decided to name her daughter ‘Khai’ because she chose that name in honor of her grandmother, Khairiah, who is the mother of her dad, Mohamed,” the source explained.
The insider added, “Bella [Hadid]‘s middle name is Khair so it’s sort of become a family tradition and a way to tribute their loved one.
