According to local news outlet , Hadid and a friend were arrested after customs officials found “ganja and utensils used for the consumption of ganja” in their luggage after they arrived via private plane.
The two were then taken to the Prisoner Detention Center, per Cayman Marl Road, and later released on bail. On July 12, and her friend were charged during a court appearance, where they pleaded guilty and were both fined $1,000, per Cayman Marl Road.
The outlet adds that they are not facing any charges.A representative for Hadid told E! News that "Gigi was traveling with marijuana purchased legally in NYC with a medical license.
