'Ghosts' Showrunners Share That One Major Storyline Will Be Solved Before The Season Two Finale

The cast of Ghosts gathered up for a big group shot at the Emmy FYC Screening held at DGA in Los Angeles on Sunday night (April 30). Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar got in the middle of co-stars Brandon Scott Jones, Asher Grodman, Danielle Pinnock, Richie Moriarty, Rebecca Wisocky, Devan Chandler Long, Román Zaragoza, and Sheila Carrasco, and showrunners Joe Wiseman and Joe Port.

Earlier this month, both showrunners shared what fans can expect in the upcoming season finale. Keep reading to find out more… Joe W and Joe P told Deadline that this season will end with a cliffhanger. “We ended [the current season] with a cliffhanger we can’t talk about yet,” they shared, before adding that another season-long story will be solved. “In the episode before the finale, we solve Alberta’s murder, which has been a season-long mystery that we’ve been [working on].” Both Joes then opened up about how having a large cast is a benefit for them: “All the characters have [these] ongoing storylines that we can touch on every now and then, you know?

We have a huge cast, which is the strength of the show; we can go in so many different directions because everyone is just a home run hitter.” “But we also have a lot of characters to service,” they shared. “It’s so exciting to have different friends to play with and to have different dynamics.

Each time you put sort of a different two or three people in a room, it brings out different sides to everybody.” Ghosts airs Thursdays on CBS.
