Daniel Radcliffe is gearing up to play "Weird Al" Yankovic in a new Roku Channel biopic about the life and career of the man behind the Grammy-winning parodies.In new photos from the set of  taken earlier this month in Los Angeles, the 32-year-old star, dressed in a camouflage short-sleeved button-up with a pair of plain black jeans and checkered Vans slip on shoes, is hardly recognizable in Yankovic's infamous curly 'do and mustache combo, as he's seen making his way through the film's set with an iced coffee in hand. According to a tongue-in-cheek release for the upcoming biopic, the film «holds nothing back, exploring every facet of Yankovic's life, from his meteoric rise to fame with early hits like 'Eat It' and 'Like a Surgeon' to his torrid celebrity love affairs and famously depraved lifestyle.»The movie also promises to bring «audiences on a truly unbelievable journey through Yankovic's life and career, from gifted child prodigy to the greatest musical legend of all time.»Yankovic, who serves as a writer for the biopic, said he was «thrilled» to have Radcliffe portray him in the story about his life.«I am absolutely thrilled that Daniel Radcliffe will be portraying me in the film,» Yankovic gushed. «I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the role future generations will remember him for.»«When my last movie UHF came out in 1989, I made a solemn vow to my fans that I would release a major motion picture every 33 years, like clockwork.

Gerard Butler took a reprieve from his home quarantine, amid the coronavirus pandemic, by heading out to catch some waves.The 300 star was first seen arrivingat a private beach access on Sunday afternoon in Malibu.At one point he changed into a wetsuit and then grabbed his surfboard and headed towards the Pacific Ocean in an E-Z-Go Express 4x4 ATV for some solo surfing. Gerard Butler divides his time between Glasgow, in his native Scotland, and Los Angeles, his adopted home in the years since he became a leading man of the silver screen.And with the coronavirus crisis reaching a fever pitch in March, the 300 star has been riding out his self-quarantine over the last couple of weeks with his longtime love Morgan Brown in Southern California.The couple took a reprieve from their sequester on Monday and met up with some friends at a beach just north of Malibu, despite the Stay At Home policy now in effect in the Golden State.

Though she’s probably best-known to the general public as Gerard Butler’s longtime on/off girlfriend, Morgan Brown has substantial independent means of her own — she’s an accomplished interior designer and real estate investor who’s owned and built a number of luxury homes in the L.A. area. She’s also a daughter of the late Harry Joe Brown Jr., a prominent property developer, and the granddaughter of prolific Hollywood producer Harry Joe Brown Sr.
