EXCLUSIVE: CBS seems to be generating plenty of laughs with its Thursday night comedy slate. Led by Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, the network averaged 5.62M viewers across primetime on February 6, which is up 7% from the week prior, according to early live + same-day Nielsen data.

In fact, CBS boasted the top four programs of the night, effectively dominating primetime. As mentioned Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage was the top program of the night with 6.54M viewers tuning in — a 3% lift from the series’ season-to-date average and up 4% from the audience the week prior.

That’s just slightly under the 6.56M viewers that Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage tallied for its premiere episode, which still stands at the series-high audience.

It’s quite possible that Thursday night’s episode will actually beat that record when final Nielsen data is in later Friday.
