mirror.co.ukGeorge Michael’s ex is accused of smashing a shop window just days before the fourth anniversary of the singer’s death. Fadi Fawaz, 44, will appear in court charged with causing £800 in damage on December 21 at Le Flix Natural Beauty Bar in Fitzrovia, Central London.
The hair stylist is due to face Westminster magistrates on January 5. He was charged under the Criminal Damage Act 1971. The window of the shop was boarded up and the business was closed yesterday.
A resident said: “Someone put a stick through the window. Police were nearby and it was dealt with quickly. I think the tenants were handing over the keys to the landlord when it happened.” Fawaz found George, 53, dead in bed on Christmas Day in 2016.
