A warrant has been issued for the arrest of George Michael's ex Fadi Fawaz after he failed to turn up to court. He had been due to appear today at Westminster Magistrates' Court but didn't attend.
Fadi, who was dating the singer when he tragically died on Christmas Day in 2016, was due to face an allegation that he smashed a shop window.
District judge Alexander Jacobs issued a warrant for his arrest, with the hairdresser, 47, having previously failed to attend the same magistrates’ court last month after an error with paperwork meant he wasn't made aware.
Fawaz, of St George’s Avenue in Islington, north London, is accused of one count of criminal damage. He is alleged to have broken a window at Le Fix Natural Beauty Bar in Fitzrovia,
