mirror.co.ukYouTube star Jake Paul has hit back at allegations that he was looting a mall after sharing videos with his followers. The 23-year-old has explained that he was simply documenting the looting and vandalism taking place at Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Arizona.
After sparking fury amongst his fans, he took to social media to release a statement explaining his actions. He said he and his friends had been protesting after the death of George Floyd at the time, and that he was hit with tear gas while in the thick of the activity.
He wrote: "To be absolutely clear, neither I nor anyone in our group was engaged in any looting or vandalism. For context, we spent the day doing our part to protest one of the most horrific injustices our country
