George Clooney explains why he refused to give his kids 'weird-ass' names

George Clooney has explained why he chose to give his children very normal names. The Hollywood actor, 59, shares three-year-old twins Alexander and Ella with his wife Amal, 42.

And while celebrities often give their children unique and unusual names, George says there's a very good reason that he didn't follow the trend.

George said his kids would have enough trouble because of his fame without having weird names too. The Ocean's Eleven star told AARP : "I didn’t want, like, weird-ass names for our kids.

They’re already going to have enough trouble. It’s hard being the son of somebody famous and successful." It comes after George admitted he's spent most of his nine months in lockdown changing nappies and washing dishes.
