George Clarke reveals major gaffe at pop legend's home - after being asked what was wrong with star's house

George, 50, is famed for hosting shows including The Home Show, The Restoration Man and George Clarke's Old House New Home. Despite now being a public figure himself, George prefers to avoid celeb events in favour of staying at home with his girlfriend, Florence Hvorostovsky, and his three children. "Even though I get invited to red-carpet events – and I’m sure they’re really nice – I don’t go to them.
I’m just not that bothered. I’d prefer to be at home with my kids and my girlfriend," he told The Guardian in an interview, where he also discussed the tragic loss of his father.
George joked that people don't want him coming into their home due to his job as an architect and experienced of transforming properties.
