Gene Simmons.The rock legend appeared as a guest judge for Hair Metal Night on “Dancing With the Stars” Tuesday, and Simmons left fans outraged by his scoring and feedback.The 75-year-old told the first performers of the night, Danny Amendola and partner Witney Carson, he couldn’t figure out who was more “hot hot hot” between the two.Simmons started out judging on a high note, giving the athlete, 38, and pro dancer, 30, a nine while the duo received sevens from the other judges.
Later in the show, he tried to give Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko the first 10 of the season but had already locked in a nine, so the score didn’t count.As for how Savchenko, 41, felt about the mixup?
He exclusively told the Post, “We just say this is the first ten of the season, and that was us.”The supermodel echoed her partner’s sentiments, adding, “We made history this season — the first ten.
We’re still counting it.”As the night continued, Simmons shocked the performers with his low scores. “Bachelorette” star Jenn Tranearned eights from Derek Hough, Carrie Anne Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli, but the KISS vocalist and bass player quipped “don’t hate me” before giving her a seven.“He messed it all up, Gene, goddammit,” Tran’s partner Sasha Farber joked to The Post.“Not even the scores, but the commentary was crazy,” the reality TV star remarked.
