More details are expected to be released regarding the investigation into the tragic deaths of Hollywood legend Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa.Their partially mummified bodies were found in their New Mexico home last month.The Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office has ruled out foul play, and tests for carbon monoxide poisoning came back negative.
Sheriff Adan Mendoza, along with state fire, health, and forensic officials, will hold a press conference on Friday afternoon to provide updates on the case.
Mendoza previously suggested that the couple could have been deceased for up to two weeks before they were discovered on February 26.
Hackman's pacemaker last recorded activity on February 17 - nine days before maintenance and security staff arrived at the property and alerted authorities.
