Gen V producers have confirmed that Chance Perdomo‘s role in Season 2 won’t be recast after the actor’s death. In a statement shared on social media, the producers of the Prime Video series said Perdomo’s Andre Anderson will not be played by another actor when the show returns. “As we continue to navigate the tragic loss of Chance Perdomo, everyone at Gen V is determined to find the best way to pay respect to his memory,” read the statement from producers shared on Instagram. “We won’t be recasting the role, because no one can replace Chance.” RELATED: Chance Perdomo Remembered By ‘Gen V’ And ‘The Boys’ Cast Members The statement continued, “Instead, we have been taking the time and space to refract our Season 2 storylines as we begin production in May.
We will honor Chance and his legacy this season.” A post shared by Gen V (@genv) Perdomo died on March 30 in a motorcycle accident.
The cast and producers of Gen V were supposed to meet for their first table read for Season 2, as filming was scheduled to begin on April 8 in Toronto.
