metro.co.ukGame of Thrones star Gemma Whelan has admitted she was worried that having her baby would ruin her career. But the actress, who played Yara Greyjoy in the hit HBO series, gladly realised her career would not be over when she asked if she could bring her baby on set.
She became an immediate icon after a picture of her breastfeeding daughter Frances on the GoT set while wearing her costume emerged.
She told the Radio Times: ‘I was worried, as many actors are, that if I had a baby my career would be over. ‘Actually, if you just ask for what you need without being an idiot, it [taking your baby on set] isn’t insurmountable.
