Former Love Island star Gemma Owen has teased a return to TV amid rumours of a new show with her famous family. The 19 year old stunner, who is the daughter of ex-footballer Michael Owen, shot to fame when she appeared on Love Island last year, and is now an ambassador for PrettyLittleThing and boasts a whopping two million followers on Instagram.
In a recent interview, Gemma said "never say never" when asked if she would consider doing a TV show with her family, including dad Michael, mum Louise, and her siblings, James, 16, Emily, 14 and Jessica, 12.
Gemma said: “I mean, at the moment, I'm not sure. I think my family, like my brothers and sisters are still quite young." Speaking to the Daily Star, Gemma went on: “So yeah, never say never, but I think at the moment it would be a bit unfair to put my younger sister in that position in the spotlight. “Because, you know, if I saw them getting trolled and nasty comments towards them, then I feel like that wouldn’t be nice and they would worry about it.
So I think for now, as they’re still sort of growing up, we’ll probably keep them quite sheltered from everything.” Gemma lives at home with her family in their £4million Cheshire mansion, which boasts stables where Gemma rides her horse.
