Gemma Oaten has bravely shared that she suffered a tragic miscarriage three years ago. The former Emmerdale star, 37, has opened up about her struggles with fertility, which were caused by her 13-year battle with anorexia.
In an emotional video posted to Instagram, she revealed that she had gone to enquire about getting her eggs frozen so she could be a mum one day, but was told she didn't have many to retrieve.
Gemma said she wanted to raise awareness on the harmful effect eating disorders can have on fertility as she shared her hopes at becoming a mum one day.
