Gemma Collins turns to food in tough times as she says eating is form of self-harm

Gemma Collins has revealed that she turns to food to help her through tough times. The Diva Forever star, 40, lifted the lid on her weight struggles during a heartfelt appearance on Piers Morgan's Life Stories.

The much-loved TV star admitted that she finds comfort in food during hard times, but also uses it as a form of ‘self-harm’.

Gemma, who has been subjected to years of abuse and trolling in relation to her weight, burst into tears during the honest chat with Piers, which airs on Tuesday February 11.

After she watched a video clip where her close friends discussed the impact that the trolling had on her, Gemma couldn’t control her emotions as she relived the abuse then and there.
